Welcome to Peak Financial Wellness

 

Did you start your business to help people and make a difference in the world? I can relate!

I started Peak Financial Wellness as a passion project on the side while I was still working as a corporate controller to help people with financial literacy. I quickly realized how underserved small business owners were and how much more I could help. Financial literacy is still at the heart of the business.

Being the oldest of four kids and witnessing my own parents’ financial struggles first hand, a seed was planted at a young age for financial security. I was a little lost my junior year of high school when my mom suggested that I become a CPA.

While working on my accounting degree at BGSU, my husband (then boyfriend) suggested that I read a personal finance book that he had read. I loved it and my passion for learning all things personal finance started! I went on to get my MBA and CPA and have worked in both public and corporate accounting over the years.

I'm Chelsea Zainea

After spending the first couple of years of my career in traditional public accounting doing auditing and tax work, I spent over a decade in corporate. I kept coming back to the same issue. I was unfulfilled and feeling like I wasn’t really helping people with money in the way that I had intended to when I became a CPA. I decided to change all of that and Peak Financial Wellness came to be. 

After seeing how much more I could help business owners, I knew I didn’t want to do traditional historical bookkeeping and just throw clients a report at the end of the month. I wanted to use what I’ve learned along the way to actually help people. While knowing your numbers and having accurate bookkeeping is important (and we’ll take care of it for you), knowing what to do with those numbers is even more integral in growing your business. We’ll give you the clarity and guidance you need to maximize your profit and grow a business that makes a difference.

Lisa Hansen

Lisa graduated from Harding University with a BBA in accounting and finance. She has spent the last several years working in audit and accounting roles in public accounting. She has lived in Illinois, Arkansas, South Dakota, and New York.

Lisa currently lives in Marysville, Ohio with her husband, Zach and their son Charlie. Lisa enjoys spending her free time traveling, hiking, and camping. Fun fact - Lisa's parents own an independent pharmacy, so she knows all the ups and downs of entrepreneurship.

Heather Albrecht

Heather describes herself as a serial entrepreneur. She started her first business in 2012 and hasn't looked back. While her businesses have been in a wide variety of industries, her core business mission has always been to simplify and reduce stress for her clients.

Heather lives in Vermont in a historic 1920's kit home on the river with her husband and two teenagers. She's been an avid mountain biker since she was 13 and she and her husband spend a lot of time exploring the miles and miles of trails all over Vermont and New Hampshire. 

Heather grew up in the hospitality industry, both of her grandparents owned bed and breakfasts that she worked in throughout high school. Client experience is in her blood and she looks forward to helping provide an excellent customer experience to you.
